  • Welcome to Our Site!

We are sisters-in-law, Sarah Meyers and Alicia Johnson, who share an excitement for capturing memories through photography. Seven years ago Sarah started her photography business, Sarah Meyers Photography. She had just graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Art and emphasis in Photography. Alicia joined the business several years later and now we're a happy pair who enjoy traveling around Tampa Bay photographing weddings, families, and children.

Sarah specializes in wedding photography; and Alicia, especially enjoys baby, child, and family photography - although we both do both. We have fine tuned and developed our style and talent over the years. Sarah excels in candid photos while Alicia tends to do more traditional posing.

In addition to being photographers we are both wives and mothers. Sarah lives in Tampa and has two darling boys - Ethan and Charlie. Alicia lives in New Port Richey and has had three babies in the past four years - Sadie, Jax, and McKay. We definitely understand children and have many tricks to get them to give us the expressions we aim to capture.

Nothing is more thrilling for us than creating beautiful, creative, quality images for our clients. Perfection is our goal and photography is our passion.

    Welcome to our website!

Downtown St Pete Senior Pictures

Seniors are so fun to photograph!  Emily and I met up in Downtown St Pete for an exciting photo shoot.  Emily is a super sweet and very responsible senior.  She was great, great, great to work with!  She was definitely a natural in front of the camera, too.  She has a warmth and happiness about her that shows in the photos.

There is so much variety in that small area in Downtown St. Pete.  We took pictures in front of the Museum of Fine Art, in an ally, in the middle of the road, by the Banyan trees, and we even stopped for ice cream and got pictures at the tables out front.  Emily also brought her bike which added to the fun.  We had a grand time!  We could have kept going for hours.  There were more places to explore but the sun went down and we had to call it quits.

Crews Lake Family Photo Session

I photographed an adorable family at Crews Lake Park two weeks ago. It was a beautiful evening – perfect temperature, weather, and great location.  Love it when things line up so nicely!

Sherri and Stretch have three sweet boys that were so cute and cooperative.  Sherri had the clever idea of bringing their capes which were a home made Christmas gift from their grandma.  The boys had a great time running and playing in them.  The parents were so laid back and happy which always helps the kids to be the same.  We had a great time!

5 Year Old Birthday Pictures

My daughter just turned five so I took her out for her annual photo shoot.   She was in an especially cooperative and crazy mood on this evening.  Many of the poses she came up with were silly, but I was patient and playful and in the end I got what I wanted.

I’m in complete disbelief and denial about her being five. “The days are loooonnnng, but the years are short” – one of the truest statements I have heard to describe motherhood. How is she five already?!?!?!

Tampa Florida Aquarium Wedding

This was a Tampa Dream Wedding!!  Diane and Scott planned one of the most amazing weddings we have seen.  Every detail was so thought out and well-executed.  They wanted to be very true to where they are from and embrace the culture and beauty in the Tampa area.

For their wedding ceremony they chose to be married in the Sacred Hearts Catholic Church in Tampa.  It was spectacular!  We thought we were in an ancient European cathedral.  It can be challenging to have a traditional, yet personal and intimate ceremony but they managed to do so.

Diane - As evidenced by some of our guests’ photos, taking pictures in an aquarium is a real challenge. Sarah and her crew did am amazing job of creating memories of the most colorful wedding backdrops, ever. The time she took in visiting the site with us ahead of time, planning to capture the light just right is a testament to her talent and professionalism. Many thanks, Sarah.January 25, 2013 – 3:54 pm

Foreign Exchange Student Family Photos

This was a fun and unique family photo shoot.  Warren is from South Africa and Katie met him there while traveling.  They were married and lived there for a time until they decided to move back to the United States.  They have two adorable little girls.  They go to our church and preschool and have become good friends.  Their oldest daughter is named Sadie, same as my daughter.  They’re best little buds.  Also, interestingly, we found out last year that Katie is related to my husband.  In fact, her dad was my husband’s father’s cousin, best friend and roommate in college.  What a small world!

This year Katie and Warren signed up to be a host family for a foreign exchange student.  They were assigned Tabitha who is from Germany.  She will live with them for the 9 months during the school year.  She is delightful and extremely talented.

Katie had the fun idea of doing their family Christmas pictures with each of them holding their country’s flag.  They have a lot of personality and it was a very fun evening.
