This Clearwater beach weddings was what I would call perfect.  A perfect day for a perfect couple!  Things went so smoothly and the couple seemed calm yet excited and so happy in love.  It’s mesmerizing as a photographer when you know you’re with two who were meant to be. Two who were destined for each other.  He is with his perfect other half.  She is with her perfect other half.  There’s something tangible in the air. This couple had the chemistry.  You could see it in the way they smiled at each other from across the room and looked at each other with admiration and laughed together during pictures and dancing.  It was perfect!  They are perfect together.

A few things they did that I love:

• They gave out meaningful yet practical gifts to their bridesmaids and groomsmen. Watches, necklaces and sunglasses.
• About half way through their dances they invited others to join them.  So halfway through the first dance they invited all other couples to join them, and half way through the father daughter dance they invited all the other father/daughter pairs in the room to come join the bride and her father on the dance floor.
• They were happy and enjoyed the day.  Even when a few little hiccups arose they didn’t dwell on them.  They fixed what they could and let go of what they couldn’t.
• They made plenty of time for pictures 🙂

Their ceremony was on a private beach at the southeast end of Clearwater Beach.

These guys were hockey players so they decided to do a mock fight picture!

We walked over to the Clearwater Yacht Club for cocktail hour by the outdoor Tikibar and the reception indoors in their banquet hall. It was so convenient to have the ceremony and reception site so close together.

After cocktail hour, dances, and cake cutting we went back over to the beach for a few sunset portraits with the bridal party and bride and groom.  We captured sunset and then took a few twilight pictures, too.  The moon was kind enough to make an appearance.  So beautiful!

Back to the Clearwater Yacht Club for the reception and dance party…..
