Digital Files are a great way to archive precious images from a photo session for safe keeping. However, it's important to get the images printed and displayed as well! My first few years in business I didn't offer print products. I surveyed my clients to see how many had printed their photos and the majority "still hadn't gotten around to it". We understand it takes time to choose the images, crop and size them perfectly, decide on their placement, or create a beautiful wall gallery.
Now, having grown as an artist, I am a wholehearted believer in creating tangible custom art pieces for my clients. Physical prints become keepsakes that can be enjoyed and treasured in the present moment and for many years to come. Beautiful images on display transform a house into a home. They allow us to be brought back to a memory or a place and fill our minds with those happy memories. Displaying your images makes a statement and allows all those who enter your home to see the beauty of your family and what is most important to you!
When you buy through Alicia Johnson Photography we go over each inch to ensure the crop, sizing, color and display will be perfect. Our professional lab has perfect color rendition so you'll know the image will be printed in the exact tones intended. Walgreens, Costco, and other chains often have altered color rendition which, in my experience, produce prints that are often too orange and not sharp looking. Our full service lab offers 100% color accuracy, quality-assured prints and first-class finishing services. Also, our Photographic Prints have a longevity of 100 years in typical display conditions and 200 years in dark storage. Big box chains photos will start to yellow after a decade or two.
We really like when our clients order through us because we know the end product will look more accurate, sharp, and impressive. For that reason, we do our best to keep our prices affordable.

A wall canvas is probably our most popular print purchase. A large canvas with a beautiful image is a winning statement piece in any room of the house! We have a large 30x40 inch family portrait in our family room and it's the first thing people comment on when they enter our home. A picture in a frame may only match certain decor, but you can be sure a canvas will look good even if your color scheme or tastes change.
Photobooks are my favorite of all keepsake items! I make yearly photobooks for my family and they are my most cherished possessions. I print two sets of each yearbook. One gets tucked away for safe keeping and the other is put out in our family room where it can be enjoyed and flipped through without me being overly protective and worried!
The pages are thick and sturdy. The deep matte paper is my favorite (pearl is also available) and creates a rich color tone. A variety of covers are available such as linens, leathers, and photo covers. Debossing and and foil stamping are also available.
Below my kids are shown holding a 12x12, 50 spread book with a photo cover.
I offer books in 3 sizes - 5x5 which start at $200 for a 20 page spread (1 spread = 2 sides), 8x8 which starts at $375 for a 20 page spread, and 12x12 which starts at $625 for a 20 page spread. Spreads can be added at an additiona cost.
Each book is custom designed by Alicia and sent to the client for proofing and review prior to ordering. If you choose to order a photobook we have a custom form where you can choose your preferences. Contact Alicia for more information!
Below is shown an 8x8, 15 spread book with a linen cover.
Image cubes are a fun and playful addition to a shelf or desk. They come in two sizes - 4x4 (shown below) is $45 and an 8x8 size is $90. Our image cube has been handled and rolled like a dice many times and it's still in perfect condition!
Prints are available in a wide range of sizes and papers. The three papers we offer are matte, metallic and lustre. It's my experience that matte is the most popular. I also love the metallic paper with black and white prints and in modern homes.
One fun and inexpensive way to display prints is printing in a polaroid style on matte paper and mounting with some washi tape. Washi tape is available in all difference designs and won't damage your walls (at least mine doesn't).
Another one of my favorite products is a Christmas ornament. These make great gifts!!! I make one for us each year and they're always a topic of conversation when we're decorating the tree. I've also ordered them for our parents, grand parents and siblings as gifts. Wonderful!
I order Metal Ornaments on a metal surface with a white base with a high gloss finish. Your images stay beautiful and vivid for generations. Double-sided, there’s plenty of space for customization - images, design, names and dates, and holiday messages..
