Tia and Kevin asked me to photograph their wedding back in the spring and I happily agreed, but failed to realize it would coincide with the week I would be babysitting Sarah’s two boys while they were traveling. Oops! So, my lucky husband had all five kids all day on Saturday while I was off having a cheery time photographing the lovebirds. He had a 4, 3, 2, 1, and 9 month old. To add to the challenge two of the kids had the stomach flu. Poor guy! For the record, he did an amazing job and they were all resting peacefully when I arrived home at night.

Well, while he was coping with that chaos I was happily enjoying this fun, easy-going, affectionate couple. I’ve known both the bride and the groom for years and it was fun to be able to document their day. They were blessed with the most beautiful fall weather and bright blue skies. They were happy and relaxed all day which made my job easy. It’s so fun to be a part of a couple’s wedding day and get to witness firsthand one of the most important days of their lives.

The wedding took place at the LDS Orlando Temple and the reception was held at the LDS ward building in Odessa.
